
A full three-course breakfast is served daily at our Poconos bed and breakfast inn in Milford, Pennsylvania. Menus are customized and varied to suit the individual taste of our guests. Prior to check-in, we ask each guest of their preferences as well as any allergies. Although the inn is new, we have been preparing breakfast for discriminating guests for many years.
The highlight of each breakfast is our house-made scones. We make them on site from butter, flour, whole milk, sour cream, sugar, natural flavors, fresh fruit, baking powder, baking soda and salt. These are baked fresh every morning and served family style. These scones have become so popular that we have started to package them, so our guests can take some home.

- Breakfast meat - bacon & sausage direct from local butcher (veggie options available)
- House-made mini crab cakes available on occasion
- Pancakes - many different varieties served with warm maple syrup or house-made whipped cream
- House-made waffles with fruit and house-made whipped-cream or warm maple syrup
- French toast - lots of options
- Signature dish -”Eggy Puffs” - an egg souffle flavored with lemon zest - a family favorite!
- Eggs - made to order as best we can!
- Home-made cinnamon buns - these are made for special occasions and are another family favorite
- Oatmeal - made with stone-ground oats with choice of toppings (gluten free & vegan)
- Various jams, jellies and spreads
- Rice & beans (gluten free & vegan)

- English muffins - With Butter, Honey, Jams
- Surprise baked goods - we love to experiment in the kitchen, and occasionally we will try something new!

We are always changing our menu as we discover more delicious options. One thing that doesn’t change is our focus on providing real food that is delicious, beautiful and safe. We follow multiple strategies to assure that foods are not contaminated and that they are at the peak of their nutritional value. John is SafeServe certified and takes cleanliness and safe food handling seriously.
Where you eat can be as important as what you eat. You can choose to have an informal experience at the kitchen counter, where we can chat while you watch your meal be prepared. During the warmer months, our outdoor dining option may be a good choice. It is a casual space located a few steps from the kitchen door and is a great place to people-watch. Finally, our most formal option is the dining room that overlooks our beautiful garden and eye-catching water fountain.
